The fourth vinyl series release from the excellent Fullbarr label sees the brilliant Samaan return with a new EP of sublime Detroit inspired techno meets house, backed with a remix from heavyweight Vince Watson.

Fullbarr is a small UK label that is rapidly becoming one of the most exciting imprints around. It's mixed output of deliciously deep house and Detroit inspired techno is making it a ‘go to’ for all serious electronic music fans and has seen the likes of Stacey Pullen, The Revenge, Agoria, Laurent Garnier & Dubfire raving about recent releases.

One of the key elements in the label's success (but by no means the only one) is the immensely talented young Belfast producer Samaan. Samaan’s two previous releases for Fullbarr have seen him distil elements of techno and house into a wonderful fusion, bringing a Detroit influenced sound to the label’s output. His tracks have been included in a number of Resident Advisor podcasts and his last release launched the Fullbarr vinyl series and was an instant sell out.

For his latest release ‘Circle’ he once again delivers a classic US inspired EP that oozes quality at every turn. Title track ‘Circle’ is a deep, driving slice of techno that uses timeless pads and stabs to deliver a beautiful piece of organic sounding electronic music. ‘Doors’ takes a slightly tougher approach with stark percussion but tempers it beautifully with rich melodic pads once again. Production heavyweight and sometime Planet E artist Vince Watson turns his hand to remixing ‘Circle’ and turns in a deep and emotive mix that is simply inspirational. Finally we have excellent ‘Commodore’, an old school workout of 808 drums and sumptuous Chicago house sounds wrapped up in a perfect 2012 production, pure quality
